From January to December each year, Mannes presents a unique series of concerts, master classes, and lectures by our gifted students and distinguished faculty. The 2012 Festival, The Rise of Modernism: Innovation and Tradition focuses on art and music from the period 1890-1939. The concert tonight is part of a series of performances by Mannes piano students, which includes the complete piano works of Claude Debussy in celebration of the 150th anniversary of his birth.
